Grab your old lady or man, get on your chopper and cause some havoc at your local bar cause it's biker double feature month!! Here are two awesome, bad ass picks! The Pink Angels and Run Angel Run!
The Pink Angels 1971
So basically this about a group of gay bikers that are traveling to Los Angeles to attend a cotillion. Of course, they meet a lot of crazy people along the way and get into some trouble. I absolutely love this flick, it's funny, the lead biker is hot and it's just fun and wacky. The opening credits are really nicely shot as well....just a random thought.
Run, Angel, Run! 1969
Here is another biker flick that rules! This one is about Angel, a biker who is on the run with his girlfriend. After giving a revealing story about his gang to Life magazine, Angel and his old lady go on the run to avoid getting their asses wasted by Angel's biker buddies. This one has a little love story going on which makes it different from most biker flicks. It has more heart, character and some corny ass lines. Also, the split and multi-screen parts during the chase scene are just too damn AWESOME!!!

Race with The Devil & Mother’s Day – Double Feature Of The Month
I completely missed last month's Movie of the Month...sorry about that. To make up for that, this month will be a double feature!! Race with the Devil and Mother's Day! Yes, I had to include Mother's Day since it's on Sunday.
I absolutely love films where the main characters can't trust anyone. After witnessing a murder, Peter Fonda and Warren Oates are chased and terrorized by a town of devil worshippers. Of course, all they can do is try to get the hell away from them and when that doesn't work, they fight back. This movie has the most bad ass chase scenes in an R.V. that I've ever seen! Check this one out!
Mother's Day, by Charles Kaufman, is a cheap, filthy, repulsive and awesome movie! Because it's a low budget film, it's creative!!! In this flick, a group of women on a camping trip are captured and tortured by a woman and her crazy, psychotic sons. The torture scenes are brutal and sick and the revenge scenes are fun and inventive. Definitely give this one a try. And......watch out for Queenie!!!!!

Just One Of The Guys - Movie Of The Month!
There were a lot of teen movies that came out during the 1980's, most of those by John Hughes....which are great. However, there were many more that were just as awesome. One of those 80s films is Just One Of The Guys! This teen flick has great music, awesome fashion and hair. Joyce Hyser plays the main character, Terry/Terrance Griffith. She plays both parts very well and looks believable, to me anyways, as a dude. If you haven't checked this movie out yet then you suck.

Scarlet Diva - Movie Of The Month
This is a semi-autobiographical film by first time director and writer Asia Argento. Shot entirely on digital video around Europe, Asia stars in this film as the lead character, Anna Battista. I love this movie simply because it's soooo trashy. You follow Anna Battista from one crazy situation to another. It's sleazy, vulgar, and fabulous. Both soundtracks are also pretty bad ass, one by John Hughes and the second soundtrack by Lory D. The commentary by Asia is also very informative and entertaining, she definitely doesn't hold back on anything!

Hardcore 1979 - Movie Of The Month
Hardcore is one of those films that really takes you into the filth of the porn industry and worse. I first saw this movie on late night television and it was pretty much cut to shreds. This movie is another reason why I love 70s films. Nothing is sugar coated for you. You get what you get...it may be unpleasant but tough shit!
George C. Scott is brilliant as usual and Season Hubley is beyond realistic. This was a couple years before she did Vice Squad. Definitely check this film out!!

Movie of the Month - Angel (1984)
High School Honor Student by Day. Hollywood Hooker by Night.
This has to be one of my favorite movies of all time. I first saw this as a kid, thinking it was something else, and instantly fell in love with it and its characters. Donna Wilkes is awesome as Molly Stewart, the hooker/honor student. Rory Calhoun, Dick Shawn and Susan Tyrrell are equally amazing and memorable in this flick. If you get the chance, Netflix this baby asap.

Christiane F. - Movie Of The Month
Christiane F. is an amazing German film from 1981. The movie deals with a young girl and her descent into a world of drugs, sex and loss of innocence. I love that this movie is raw and doesn’t sugar coat the drug use. It shows it for exactly what it is, ugly. It’s a pretty shocking film considering the time it was released. Definitely worth watching!

Private Parts 1972 Movie Of The Month!
Checking into the ramshackle King Edward Hotel owned by her funeral-obsessed aunt (Lucille Benson), Cheryl (Ayn Ruymen), a teenage runaway, doesn't expect the royal treatment. But the kooky tenants who make up the neighborhood (including George, a handsome photographer who sleeps with a Cheryl-esque blow-up doll) don't roll out much of a welcome mat -- especially since the girl who last lived there turned up dead.
